Schooling:
Luke is currently a senior attending the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (pictured left). He is working toward a double degree in both CIS (Computer Information Systems) and WDMD (Web and Digital Media Development). After earning his degree and gaining a few years of work experience (pertaining to his studies), he is hoping to eventually teach – either at a technical college or university level.
Interests and Hobbies:

In his free time, Luke enjoys researching many different aspects of technology and putting them to use. As a hobby he runs his own web server from his parent’s home, which in case you were wondering is where this very site is hosted from. Just as much as he enjoys programming and configuring software applications, Luke is also a hardware and networking enthusiast. This interest has led him to taking an entire room out of his parent’s house and devoting it to technology (pictured at the right). Additionally, he has also run category 6 cabling to just about every other room of the house (including the kitchen!), so no matter where his siblings are – computer access is at their fingertips.
While Luke’s computing knowledge may not have directly contributed to the development of the Green Rabbit Machine, his childhood interests most certainly played a role. When Luke was younger he was extremely interested in electricity and circuits. His father (a former Johnson Controls Project Manager) often brought home surplus parts after completing various jobs. Out of mischief, Luke would get his hands on these spare parts and start developing circuits using things like mechanical relays, fire alarm components, motion detection switches, and anything else he could get his hands on.
Recreation:
As much as Luke likes technology, taking a break from time to time is always helpful for one’s wellbeing. When he’s not tinkering with electronics, you’ll find Luke outside enjoying the scenic areas of rural northern Wisconsin. In the summertime, he’ll be out camping, biking & hiking on trails – exploring the wilderness… and in the winter, you’ll find him at the ski hill.
